Peterbilt 379 Truck Tractor With 70" Sleeper - Red

The only truck or truck tractor produced by Classic Mint Collectibles, LLC was the Peterbilt 379 extended hood truck tractor in several configurations (four axle day cab heavy haul and three axle sleeper) and multiple paint schemes. This remarkable brass model created a completely new level of expectation of what was possible in HO scale vehicle models. The brass sheet material used for the cab and hood construction was thin enough to accurately replicate the prototype extremely well without sacrificing structural integrety. All the Peterbilt models shared an array of plated accessories that were very well executed.

This model, one of a limited series of factory painted tandem drive axle truck models with 70" Unibilt sleeper, featured all brass construction with highly detailed Cummins Signature 600 engine, plated muffler heat shields, plated Alcoa wheels, tires with raised letters and correct tread patterns for steer and drive positions, detailed engine compartment and cab interior, simulated trailer air brake lines and electrical cable, and Holland fifth wheel. Finished in gloss red.
